I was told if you are interested in research work you need to move out of India. I got to know about ICRI and applied for a research program there as I had no chance of leaving my parents to move abroad. I was selected and I am going to complete my thesis in a month. The stint at the Mumbai campus of ICRI was amazing and would like to spend more time here if given the chance.
